Chill Out at Celebration Square's Themed Skate Parties 

MISSISSAUGA, February 7, 2012 – Mississauga Celebration Square has winter’s special holidays covered with three themed skate parties to keep you moving and grooving.  Lace up your skates and glide into Valentine’s Day, Family Day and March Break on the Square.

“Valentine’s Day, Family Day and March Break are holidays that encourage us to spend time with loved ones, rejuvenate and refresh,” said Melissa Agius, manager, Mississauga Celebration Square Events.  “The Square is the perfect place for friends and family to connect during these special times, while taking in the vibrancy of our City Centre.”

What/When:               Mississauga Celebration Square Skate Parties

Eat, Skate, Love - Saturday, February 11, 7 – 9 p.m.

Family Day Skate - Monday, February 20, 2 – 4 p.m.

March Ice Breaker - Saturday, March 10, 2 – 4 p.m.

Gourmet food truck menus are posted on the skate parties page on the Celebration Square website.  Skate rentals are available on the Square for $5 to $10 for two hours.  Skate Parties are presented by Allstate Insurance.  Family Day Skate is presented by Allstate Insurance and supported by RBC.

The Mississauga Celebration Square ice rink is the largest free, outdoor rink in the city.  With a built-in sound system and the latest green technology, the 147’x155’ rink is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through March, weather permitting.

Located outside of Mississauga Civic Centre in the downtown, Mississauga Celebration Square is a vibrant state-of-the-art multi-media event destination. The newly renovated Square is host to a dynamic line-up of year-round, free outdoor events and festivals that showcase arts, cultural diversity and entertainment.
