Police appeal for information in fatal collision

January 9, 2012—Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a fence on Erin Centre Boulevard.

On Friday, January 6, 2012, at approximately 11:07 p.m., one of the deceased, a 21 year-old Mississauga man, was operating a 2004 Silver Mazda RX-8 on Erin Centre Boulevard. At some point, the vehicle subsequently left the roadway and struck a tree, rolled and ended up against a fence.

The 21 year-old driver and his 24 year-old passenger, both residents of Mississauga were both pronounced at the scene.

Members of the Major Collision Bureau are investigating and are appealing to the public for information.
