I strongly urge you to attend a Crime Prevention community meeting I am hosting featuring presentations by Peel Regional Police officers. The session will take place in person and provide attendees with a chance to hear directly from and ask questions of the Police about criminal activity locally and across the region, with a focus on property crime.

Wednesday, March 22, 2023 – 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Churchill Meadows Library and Older Adults Centre
3801 Thomas Street (attached to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Sec. School)

Please mark this important meeting on your calendar and plan to attend.

The session will include a short presentation about the Police budget and available resources to investigate crime and make arrests, and the prioritization of responding to calls. The main presentation will focus on property crime (auto theft and break ins) and tips to protect yourself. There will be an opportunity to ask questions about officer response times and reporting mechanisms. Also included will be a brief introduction to the Neighbourhood Watch program run by Safe City Mississauga.

Doors open at 6:30. No pre-registration is required. Seating is limited but we will try to accommodate as many people as possible.
