Register now to attend my follow-up community meeting that is focused on addressing concerns raised by residents living in the neighbourhoods surrounding Ridgeway Plaza, located in Ward 8 and adjacent to Ward 10. While the meeting is open to the general public, the content will be geared specifically for those who live in close proximity to the plaza and will detail efforts undertaken by municipal and police forces to reduce nuisance gatherings and address safety, noise, parking, traffic, litter and related concerns at and around the plaza.

Attendees must register to attend by clicking the Register Here button at the bottom of this page. Once you register with your email address, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to join the meeting. You can join as early as 15 minutes before the 7 pm start time.
This second meeting is being held for several reasons:
- There were space limitations at the venue for the first meeting that precluded everyone from attending who may have wanted to.
- There were many more questions at the first meeting than there was time to answer them.
- The timing of the first meeting conflicted with a religious commemoration that precluded some community members from attending.
- There is new information to share that speaks to the topic of the meeting.
The agenda for this meeting will largely follow a similar pattern to the first one held on March 19.

Two hours have been scheduled for the event and a large portion of this will be allocated to the Q&A section.
During the registration process, residents will have the opportunity to ask a question(s) related to the topic of the meeting. Doing so in advance will give our presenters time to gather the information needed to provide an appropriate response. Questions need not be posed in advance. There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the meeting through the Webex platform’s Q&A feature and this will serve as the interactive component of the meeting. Attendees will not be able to turn on their cameras or microphones. Questions of a similar topic may be grouped together for a single response and not all questions may get a response depending on volume and relevance.
An online meeting has been selected as the preferred delivery model for the meeting as this has several advantages:
- No need to book a physical space within the community, which is always a challenge.
- No capacity issues that could preclude some from attending.
- Online meetings tend to be more convenient for residents with a higher attendance.
- Option to record the meeting for residents to view the material at a time that suits them.
- Residents can ask questions with a certain degree of anonymity.
