Miway is proposing a significant change to its mapping that will have an impact on customers who ride the Route 39 bus west of Winston Churchill Boulevard. The proposal will have #39 travel along Winston Churchill Blvd between Meadowvale Town Centre and Britannia Road rather than its current route through the middle of the Lisgar community. In its place, Route 50 will be created to provide service to those who currently use the westerly portion of Route 39. It will travel between Meadowvale Town Centre and Erin Mills Town Centre, overlapping Route 39 between Winston Churchill Blvd and Glen Erin Drive.
For details on the plan, expected to roll out in October 2025, please follow this link and scroll down to “Meadowvale Network Improvements.”
The expected frequency of service along Route 39 will increase for all trips throughout the week. The expected frequency for Route 50 will range from 4 to 12 minutes longer between busses, depending on the time of day and day of the week.
I would like to receive feedback from Ward 10 transit users on this proposed change. Please fill out my Google Survey by clicking on “Take the Survey” below. The survey will be open til mid-July.
